The CD-ROM contains two of the most important English Bible translations: the classic King James Version (also "Authorized Version") of 1611 (in the corrected Blayney Edition of 1769, without Apocyrpha) and the New Revised Standard Version (with Apocrypha) of 1989. The National Council of Churches of Christ in the United States is responsible for this edition and its revised version.
The CD can be combined with all products of the series CD-ROM Bible Edition. This enables the user to compare the English Bible texts with other Bible translations and the Bible text in the original languages in a combined installation.
