The “Novum Testamentum Graece” was re-edited at the Institute for New Testament Textual Research Münster/Westphalia under the direction of Barbara and Kurt Aland. Sometimes referred to as the “critical text,” this is the Greek text most widely used today. It has provided the basis for nearly every modern New Testament translation in the past one hundred years. The Greek text of the New Testament is presented with a detailed critical apparatus at the bottom of the page and detailed cross-references to other passages at the margins. The introduction to the edition with useful explanations is in German and English.

The CD-ROM contains the text of the “Novum Testamentum Graece” without text-critical apparatus. The CD can be combined with all products of the CD-ROM Bible Edition series. This enables the user to compare the Greek Bible texts with modern Bible translations in a combined installation.
