The Psalter Synopsis contains the text of the Psalms in the Hebrew and Greek versions as well as the two most common German translations: the “Common Bible” 1970 and the revised Lutherbible of 1984. The Hebrew Text is identical with the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the Greek text with the Septuagint by A. Rahlfs.

The texts are printed in four columns. This clear layout ensures that the texts can easily be compared to each other.

At the foot of the pages the textcritical apparatus of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the biblical parallels of the Common Bible and the Lutherbible are given.
